The answer is yes. Yes it is likely to repeat itself and that is how slimming groups and the dieting industry make their money – through people failing to ‘achieve’ and sustain the results they are promised. People typically cannot stick to strict food rules in the long term.

As a Registered Nutritionist (ANutr), I work with individuals in a 1-1 setting, to really get to the root of what is causing issues around food and diet. I will also educate you on understanding good nutrition, and help you to develop a better relationship with food, your body and yourself, in a way that is healthy, balanced, and most importantly, realistic.

1-1 nutrition sessions (initial consultation + agreed number of ongoing sessions)

An initial 1-1 consultation, followed by an agreed number of personalised 1-1 sessions covering but not limited to the following:

– Knowledge and understanding of basic nutrition (understanding your personal challenges & goal setting)
– An understanding of the link between eating and emotions (emotional support, food & mood check ins)
– An understanding of food groups, nutritional information and food labels
– A better understanding of food marketing and the food environment (supermarket trip)
– Weekly recipe inspiration (learn how to cook and prepare healthy food that fits your schedule and finances)
– An understanding of the importance of physical activity and a physical activity plan to suit your lifestyle
– Weight and BMI monitoring (where appropriate)
– Whatsapp support
