I’m Meg, an Associate Registered Nutritionist (ANutr) currently working in the public health sector, whilst also running MindBodyMeg.

I did my undergraduate degree in English and Sports Science (BA) at Loughborough University 7 years ago. I then went on to work in physical activity and health promotion roles at both Loughborough University and later, at London School of Economics. It was during this time that I realised my passion for nutrition and wellbeing, whilst working in my first Public Health role, delivering child and adult weight management programmes in the London Borough of Redbridge. Skipping forwards a few years, I took a career break to complete my MSc in Nutrition and Public Health Management at Sheffield Hallam University, where I gained a first class (hons) and my Associate Nutritionist status (ANutr). At present, I work as a Family Nutritionist in the public health sector, supporting children and parents to adopt healthy relationships with food, their bodies and the food environment – a role which I adore.

In today’s word, I understand how personal, social and environmental pressures are difficult to navigate when it comes to food and health. Conflicting health messages, social media ‘nutrition advice’ and day to day life stressors, can all become too much, and that’s why I’m here to help. I’m passionate about supporting others through sharing my knowledge of nutrition and physical activity, and in particular, nurturing healthy relationships with food and exercise. I feel lucky to work in an industry that I find so interesting and that is relevant to everyone, and so I am here to share my favourite recipes, and offer professional health advice that is realistic, understandable and evidence-based.

I’m excited to have you here!
